Party was a blast! - August 20, 2005

We'd like to thank all participants including musicians, volunteers, supporters, attendees, Capitol Hill Arts Center staff, and Jayadeva, Krishna and Radha for making this event such fun.

We're still recovering at the moment, but look forward to reviewing the 8-track and 2-track recordings and videotape.
We had a great time, and many people told us about how they appreciated the music. We did it together!

We will begin to send out CDs to our original supporters after a brief intermission.

Mark your Calendar! - July 30, 2005

It’s Got Sex, Love and Spirituality. What more could you want? Alpha
Tango, the Seattle music group started by Heidi Drucker and Tom Fallat
will be holding an evening soiree with live music, food, door prizes, and
reduced prices on two brand new CDs by the group. Come celebrate the
release of not one but two brand new CDs and help us thank you for your
support!

The performance will be Friday, August 19th at the Capitol Hill Arts
Center Lower Level, 1621 12th Ave, Seattle WA 98122. $5.00 cover at the
door includes food, non-alcoholic beverages, live performance, and CDs for
$10 each or two for $15. There's a cash bar across the hall. Doors open at 9
PM. Performance starts starts at 10 PM.

"Under the Bimba Blossoms" is a world beat pop opera that takes the
listener through a world of international, traditional, and contemporary
styles of music. The lyrics tell the story of the Gita Govinda, a
stunningly sensual love poem written by Jayadeva in India in the 12th
Century. The music features a huge array of instruments from around the
world. "A Hundred Blooms" is an exotic, meditative take on an Indian rag.
The CD features performances by Heidi Drucker on vocals, Michael White on violin, Vishal Nagar on tabla, Michael Nicolella on guitar and Tom Fallat on drumset.

This Friday night party will be an unforgettable event perfect for a date.
You can go home with a copy of either or both CDs priced especially low for
this event only.

The live event will feature guest artists Sid Law on guitar, Chris Symer on bass, tabla virtuoso Vishal Nagar, David Close on keyboards, Tom Fallat on drums and tamboura, and Heidi Drucker on vocals.

There may be a special appearance by violinist Michael White, back from
Japan.
